Curious to hear what you think of it and obviously looking forward to seeing some pictures.. I think so far I've only seen the "official" shots they used on the website & for the newsletters, those looked really nice 👍

Yeah, from what I can tell from the reviews the results are very nice. For me, a camera also has to feel and sound nice though. The original Rollei 35 has a very satisfying mechanical feel and sound to it. It's one of the reasons I have such a soft spot for it and why I jumped on the preorder of this remake. I'll report back once I've used it some more.
I also have a backlog of 4 old cameras I am currently cleaning and repairing. I was thinking of documenting some of it in a (non-bike) Current Projects thread. Would people be interested in reading that?

My Rollei 35AF was just delivered. First impression after taking it out of the box is that it feels a bit cheap because it is very light.
The original is smaller but heavier. Feels more solid.
I might be able to take it out on the weekend and play a bit with it. I've considered getting a double tripod mount and doing a side-by-side comparison of old and new. For "science".
