In the end I fitted:
CASS: DeoreM5100 11-42
MECH: M4120 Deore 10/11sp Shadow SGS - long
C/SET: GRX RX610 46/30 Dbl 12 sp, 175mm
CHAIN: LG500 HG-X 138
One shift lever only: Deore M5100 11sp
2 x Hydraulic brakes: M4100/MT410 2pot
2 x TYRES: Pathfinder 700-38
...... and the Hebridean Way ride went sublimely for me given my age and riding style (well able to handle the 12% cheeky inclines snuck in around one or two corners).
