I’ll have a look through the stack, think there may be some 34’s in there (IH 555’s & TCB 50’s slims possibly)

Having a look on SoaS website, Warehouse and Full Count seem similar in price.
I'm not sure I can envisage paying over £300 for a pair of jeans. Previously I had a mental ceiling at £200, but Huit etc are all well over that now.

Ah, being in the U.S., Warehouse are still $250-$280 whereas Full Count are all $350 and up. I had assumed the same was the case for pricing in the UK but perhaps not. I also would not pay over 300GBP for a pair of jeans - unless they were particularly special. The Warehouse's I posted up thread were $280 all-in which seems fair.

ah that's interesting.
SoaS have Full Count from £269 to £379, and it isn't obvious how the pricing works as there at 13.07oz and 15.05oz fabrics at both ends of the price range.
Warehouse are £269 - £319 (smaller selection though) with the majority £299 or under, so I guess you could say Warehouse are a bit cheaper across the range.

Some of FCs washes are incredibly involved - more so than Warehouse's 2nd hand line - so that kinda tracks. But for straight up raw/one wash stuff, I am not sure why they're more expensive.

Paying that is hard to lie to yourself and just abuse them,,
I'll look up Hawksmill denim UK as mentioned a few pages ago (I thought they had shutdown) -

Those ridiculously expensive full count jackets do look great though

ah right - I had no idea about that. Anything more than one wash is a hard no from me so I happily ignore all the pre faded / distressed stuff.

look up Hawksmill denim
looks decent - thanks. and a bit cheaper than Huit which is my current choice.

Yeah, they all appreciate with wearing, honestly there's nothing better than leaving a shop having dismissed what you thought you'd like for something that feels right

Haven’t let myself try one on so that the brainworms don’t set in..

Maybe... are the jeans an actual 32" please?

• #4266
Which ones?

both

They both measure 17” across laid flat, so 34”
Also found a pair of more faded APC Petit New Standards (higher rise, more tapered) in a tag 32. Can measure/photo if anyone’s interested

Old Burlington Street, so just off Regents St/behind Savile Row. Close enough to Soho to brave it every now and again

Oh I was in there today. Such a great selection of stuff and the staff tends to be quite helpful. Picked up a heavy flannel indigo shirt from UES that should fade nicely over time

Ah, that's not so bad. Not quite full hedge fund ville.
The Iron Heart 21oz fabric softens up really quickly and I find them really comfy. You don’t notice the weight much on your legs but I do have jackets in the same material where it’s a different story and takes forever to break in.
I prefer their 21oz to their 14oz denim as the weave is a lot looser. Have a 14oz pair that are a few years old and still feel like hard work
