Nice Enamel dial but not with that strap for me 11mm🤏

Think you have to see one of these in person if you've not already. The strap works in the same way a narrow strap on a Tank works.

I've seen the white one and I think it looks like a lollipop. It works better on a Tank as the case and strap has a slim profile. My Tank had 19mm lugs but I think even the small ones are around 15mm. I've just bid on a pretty Marmite watch right now so my taste maybe questionable

Does anyone have thoughts on whether it's worth modding a Seiko SNZF17 or if I'd be better off getting a different model second hand? Reason for entertaining modding is a significant scratch across the glass

I might be up for selling an SKX007 if interested?

New to me this morning, this lovely Sekonda/Poljot Strela chrono from c1975. It’s running like a train and in beautiful condition.

Talking of Tanks… I just found this in the pile and have no idea when I got it. May have been a family/attic find.
New battery and works.

Yeah it’s mad right? But as it should be. The battery for my Geiger counter seems to have run out, so I’ll just have to hope… 😬

I'd suggest buying a crystal press and glass to put your one back in good shape. That will give you basic experience in modding, and make yo money. Parts for the 007 are fantastically cheap and plentiful, I'd start there.

Much better on a plain strap.

Thinking of making some watch boxes - this is my first attempt and I’d probably need to make at least 10 before I’d be happy to sell them.
Any interest or feedback? Will eventually have hinges, internal dividers etc

That’s great. What wood did you use for the lid? I like it because it doesn’t have a window but I may be in the minority.

I am interested just for being interested, and wondered about the necessity to allow light in?
-

Thanks for the feedback, never considered a window in it.
I bought a box of exotic wood many years ago and made some shop sawn veneer using my bandsaw and drum sander. No idea what type of wood it is. The lid pull is ebony -

New Panerai makes me want to break my "no more green watches" rule.
Mercifully the £12k price tag negates the need -
