How does that compare to a standard Bosch Powerpack?
-
• #14603
Same - which is why i posted here before buying them.

• #14604
Not sure which Bosch battery you have, their website says they come in a variety of capacities

Thanks!
mounting hardware is in the post, next job is some temp webbing and a seatbelt so my kid can ride. Also have a bbso2 kicking around but so far its not that needed.

Anyone used the Bullitt twin seat? Bit loathe to pay over £500 but I'm gonna need to get two kids in eventually.
-
• #14611
We got one for a chap earlier this year (he bought one of our Bullitts) and he rates it for his two youngsters.
Have to say I wish we’d got one for our small human too. Felt great and really sturdy/comfy but she is too big now.

It is very well made - thusly also very heavy. But you're on an electric, so less of an issue. It is a well thought out solid bit of kit.
I struggled to fit at 3-year-old and 1-year-old in full winter kit in the canopy without stirring up a fight but ymmv -

About 6kg right? It's replacing a similar weight car seat so hopefully I won't notice it too much (as well as an extra kid). I already can't do many hills because of the Nexus gearing.
I think I'll give it a punt, I'll report back. Will have a pretty much unused folding seat for sale too if anyone is in the market.

Yes, I think so. I was definitely glad to go back to the folding seat and BBX panels on our analogue bullitt - though.
Do you think your eldest would enjoy riding on MacRide/top tube mounted sadle?
That's what we're doing at the moment - thought the girls will sometimes fight about who gets to go on the MacRide. -
• #14615
Yeah perhaps - the other solution was a regular rack mounted seat but it's just wind chill in winter that's a factor. Figured I'd change to a Tern or something once they outgrew the Bullitt.
-
• #14616
Did you order the rack direct? Had I known I would have looked for a spare seatbelt for you.
-
• #14617
I use the older folding seat for my two, but retrofitted 5 point harnesses from kids car seats. The existing plastic buckles feel pretty flimsy.

@mistermikkel you need to come up with your best flyverdragter suggestions.
-
• #14619
No, a local supplier had them in stock. Does Omnium make a seatbelt?
-
• #14620
There is one on the backrest, it wouldn't be too hard to replicate though to be fair.

I ride less than 2 km to drop off both of the girls, so we usually just get something decent second hand, including spares, as børnehave and dagpleje takes it's toll.
Rainwear on top of quilted thermal ware is pretty good solution right now. -

Looks good. Would you put it inside a box, or just as is?
We have this which is not nearly as secure and supportive, but has worked really well for us for the last couple of years. Normally it has only been one occupant but we have given quite a few friends the occasional lift and it has been comfortable for 2 x 4-6 yo.

Foot muff/fleecy water proof sleeping bags for passengers in a bullit box pls.
What am I looking for?
Picked up a full om-nom-nom rack and extender setup for my hase pino conversion. Building something nice was going to cost 50% as much for 3x the weight and 5x the jank.
