Was gonna say, you might want some fibres in your hotsnot to make that shitbox halfway sound...

But no! Apparently powder is better? So 'forged carbon' (using the offcuts swept up off the floor) isn't a total crock of shit?

I've got a load of those reinforcing fibres for concrete or plaster or whatever. You've made me think that gently laying those across something before adding superglue could be a good way to add reinforcement.

Cutting out the toptube and not even making the tank or engine a stressed member is a brave move.

Not on a bike but bike related. Zip pull broke at work and needed a quick fix. Gear cable with a brake cable crimp so both ends fit. I only intended it to be temporary but it’s lasted a year. I’ve now done it on another pair of shorts that the pocket zip broke on.

Awesome idea. I have a bag with a snapped puller that will get this treatment.

Haha, nearly all of the pullers on my 15yo topeak bag are dead. Split loops work well.
