What caused the damage to the top tube? Bars making contact?
-

You’d need a stem 140mm to hit there……..oh

If this was smaller, or I were taller, you wouldnt have a frame to sell anymore.

Yes - the bars swung into the TT. It cracked the paint. So my friend started to flake the paint away to check there was no carbon damage, then put some tape over the top to stop more coming off. He rode it as a town bike for a year or so (with a Kashimax NJS TT Protector 😂). When removing the tape, it pulled some of the paint off with it!

Had a few Q’s regarding sizing and my height:
I am 183cm. The saddle height as set in the pictures I’ve posted is at 76cm. The stem length in photos, is 130mm, although I could have ridden a 120mm. Bar reach is 75mm.
I’ve attached a geo chart (54cm) for reference.

Decent price for a very nice frame with what may be only superficial damage. Even with a proper repair job it would be a bargain. Long live the rim brake.

Those wheels are dope. What rims are they?

Thankfully too small for me but that is a very pleasing looking bike/build, must have been the swankiest town bike going

Dibs and PM sent.

Thanks. They seem to grab a lot of attention - the build is:
Chris King R45 ceramic
Sapim CX-Ray spokes
Brass rear nipples, alu front
Mavic Open Pro UST Carbon -

What's the reasoning behind this out of interest?

Not with the bottle cages, sorry

Super tempting
Hi everyone,
At risk of opening up a can of worms on whether this is safe to ride or not - I am selling my S-Works Tarmac frame.
54cm, Purple Chameleon rim brake frame, fork, seatpost, headset.
I bought this from a close friend at the start of this year to use as a stop-gap over the summer as my best bike was off of the road after an accident with a cab. The bike is wicked to ride, flies up hills like you wouldn't believe, with a fairly standard build it was easily sub-7kg.
For complete clarity, there is some paint missing from the TT, meaning there is some exposed carbon for all to see. The paint has lines spidering off from the area where it is missing (from catching my leg on the sharp bits I think it lifted some more off)..
The bike has been ridden like this confidently (4000k) over the summer, however I can not guarantee the frame is 100%. I have done the traditional tap test, squeeze test, and it all checks out to be OK. However, of course it would be my recommendation to have the frame sent to a repair specialist for diagnosis/repair, and for this reason I am only asking £SOLD for it.
The frame is in Soho, London. Happy to post at buyers expense. Paypal payment preferred, or bank transfer on collection.
Any Q's please let me know!
Thanks
