Yeah, that was my experience of the eno hub. Never used one for sscx, but given it moved when using it commuting on the road, I'd imagine it would move when you put a lot of torque in through it, like you do in cx.
I should try and get to the sscx worlds one year, it's been on my races I'd like to do list for years. Sounds like you had a blast?

I've not had any problems with it slipping during riding and I've smashed it around trail for near 2 years.
Though sometimes when I need to tension it in a bike stand it can slip, so some finesse is required and make sure you do it up tight enough!

Yeah it was a lot of fun. I was staying with the rock lobster team which made for an especially raucous weekend. Im excited to sleep. I will do some experimenting with the hub and see if I can figure out a solution.

From sscxwc this weekend in madison Wisconsin! Thanks @Josh for the eno hub recommendation, i found it a bit finicky but it did the job. Several times over the weekend the wheel would move in the dropouts and my tire started rubbing on the chain stays. Have you had this experience with yours? Otherwise great weekend, I forgot how amazing it is to ride bikes with people. Pictured is me right after the race completely covered in beer and also the dynamic hay bale feature where most of the beer was being poured from.
