  • Perfect for all road riding and I'm a fan of the fork. Looks like it would eat cobblestone like a fat kid on cake. Nice one!

  • Show the gangsta tracks, this discussion is slowing down.

  • until you hit a slightly too large cobble and then they bend like a straw

  • Are the tubes too thin for the intended use? It looks like it is built pretty robust... That is truly a shame

  • would adding a brake booster to the fork stiffen it up ? Ones with cantilever mounts

  • I'm not educated in mechanical engineering but would hope that whomever designed the fork would have taken impact stress in mind

  • I have seen a old YouTube video of a rider eating s*** when his Brooklyn fork snaps

    Anyone know that video?

  • The one in a skatepark? Fork snapped at the steerer/legs ?
Rider had a bad reception if that's that one, and pretty sure it was just a matter of time before it breaks.

  • I guess that would explain why you don't see many around... I've only ever seen pictures/videos but never in the flesh. Hope the frame can justify such a hefty price tag.

  • i know that video, but it was more than 10 years ago. i also assume the forks were not designed for fgfs.

but speaking about pics here is my v1 again:

  • Someone sell me a v2 gangster medium / long

  • Put some 38s on today. Lovely fit

  • Very nice, what are the tyres? Schwalbe scout yields nothing online

  • Thank for showing them, anymore out there.?

  • My V4 in his current state with the easton fork and the brakes.

I found a V2 at kingkog two years ago that i want to mount. The steerer is just a little bit short for my size small V4 (just a few mm). I think the v2 headtubes were shorter. I need to weld a small portion of tube on the top of the existing one. I also want to braze v-brake bosses. Any toughts ?

  • Better to get a zero stack headset than try welding on a bit of steerer tube.

    Something like this.
