Apparently we have to go to other planets to find somewhere to live. But we could never get to another solar system. It's an 80,000 year journey to the closest one. So unless we can travel faster than light or pop through a wormhole, neither of which will ever be possible, we're stuck in our own solar system. And none of the other planets has an atmosphere we could survive in or the right amount of gravity. The best we could hope for is to live in a spinning space station in orbit somewhere. And we could do that in Earth's atmosphere. So why are we trying to get to Mars?
