Imho you wouldn't want an NHS referral anyway, they're so over stretched that their sole goal is to keep people out of hospital, there's no process as to what will give you the best quality of life. As a contrast when we moved to France I got a physio over here explained to her my situation ( I had a disc herniation and had never damage as a result) and how I moved super carefully and with correct posture when I picked stuff up. The first thing she said to me was that I can't go though life like that and she needed to get me to a place where I didn't worry about that stuff.
All that rambling is basically to say if you can find a private physio, even for a handful sessions they might be able to put you on the right path.
I'd say give KOT a try I use a combination of stuff my physio gave me and stuff I found on YouTube.
Referral through NHS at the moment is an absolute eternity
