  • hey @Jingle_Jangle just came across this thread again & wondered what happened with this frame, did you build it up in the end?

  • Yes, it's built up as a winter commuter.

Pretty utilitarian build but very practical and nice to ride.

I am away at the moment but will dig it out of the shed when I get back and post up a pic.

  • As promised, ready for winter duties.

    It’s a workhorse, not a show pony.

  • ah I like a good workhorse though, looks like it rides great. slight shame you couldn't get the top of the rack level though, perennial problem with large frames...

  • A Tubus rack would work.

  • Humanahumana!
I knew you had good taste!!
That's bloody lovely, see you Sunday :-)

*But please align the rear rack, my OCD is screaming;-)

Probably why @Jingle_Jangle cautioned it was a work horse (comparatively). I've that same Nitto rack, and it's not an easy one with steep seat stays (and fast stays); better suited to slacker geo / smaller frames, which is annoying as it's otherwise a pretty thing.

    That bike is lovely regardless!
