This was 6 years ago…
He’s 11 years old now and still brings home wildlife to eat / play with. TBH I am more amazed about how he got it through the cat flap…
My poor wife is traumatised, he always does it when I am at work or away…

He's on number 6 overall I think. This morning, had to kick him out, he wouldn't let go of it. He brought it back up and left it on the stairs for me though 😑

It would be so cool if they'd make these GPS-tracking-collars in the shape of bow-ties!

How much do you pay for your pet insurance? I have been with PetPlan for years and have always been relatively happy with them in terms of monthly cost, year on year, they only increased the monthly cost by less than around 10%, some years only a couple of pounds.
Have made a few claims over the years and they have always paid withing days. However, just got my renewal doc and the cost has gone up by over 20% (£41.xx to £50.xx). Patch does has good covers as it is their most expensive plan (£12,000 per a claim year + a bunch of other stuff). I can still afford it, but it feels a bit like day light robbery now. Esp my own insurance cost less than this and they have always been happy to give a discount when I call and have a reasonable conversation with them.
I challenged PetPlan price hike last year and they said it's because of the local vet charges, for example, London vets costs more and so we have to pay more, I said, but I literally just moved out of London and that shut them up, they then very reluctantly gave me 10% discount.

Her mistress called her Daesh because she used to bring her beheaded mice from an early age.
Hence the thousand-yard stare now.

Thanks @salad!
This photo was taken with the camera app (org.lineageos.aperture) provided with iodéOs installed on my smartphone Xiaomi Mi9 and edited with the intense filter of the gallery and some corrections (com.android.gallery3d).
IodéOS is a custom ROM derived from Lineageos and built at Toulouse in Occitanie, the french region where I live. Some kind of local product I recommend.

Our PetPlan also leapt up last renewal approx 20% and £58/mth, but presumed this was because Elmo was 18 at his last renewal.
Have always tended to use them as
-you get 3mths cover when adopting from cats protection
-a friends whose a vet says they are one of the few who aren't dicks about claim -

Patch is turning 13 next month and I just tried to start a new quote, they won't even offer the same £12k a year plan anymore for older cats. For £3k per an illness per a policy year, their quite was just under £30, so I guess £50 is somewhat reasonable?
Agree with the claims, they have never challenged any claims we have made, including dental problems. Still for £50 a month, it's quite expensive, but then my little furball is priceless.
