As you rightly have decided- if it’s not causing continual problems- risk:benefit of surgery is more risk sided than benefits.
Thanks for this btw, I also caught your initial post in my email! It's interesting to wonder what caused it. There is some manual aspect to my work and hobbies (and I am very much right-handed) but my wrist has certainly not had a hard life.
