Off to my second game in 2 weeks tomorrow. Last week's game was decent - as a neutral, all you want is a close game that comes down to the last drive or two and we got that.

Where are you sitting this time? I managed to get a good lower tier seat near the 45 yard line. Should be a good game. Always going to boo the Glitter Kitties. Going next week too with my son. Will bust out the vintage Demeco Ryans jersey. Say hello if you see me on the East side.

You don’t hear a country twang like that too often.

Tampa at Saints has been an incredible half.

Nuts. Those NFC South matchups are something else entirely.

Some pics from today. I had a solo seat surrounded by native Chicagoans. Great fans, really friendly and really chatty. They travelled well and the team played well.

Great pics.
Chicago seem to have got bang for their buck with their number one draft pick.

Same as last year - we've got season tickets. Not the best place to actually follow the game sometimes, but amazing for atmosphere. I found last week's crowd a bit shitty and hostile but yesterday was lovely - surrounded by a few travelling Bears fan and a solitary Jags fan who'd travelled over ended up sat in the middle of them all, we had some great good natured banter and it really summed up why I love the sport.

Weird. Sat amongst Vikings fans a couple of years ago and they were fine. I have been to Northern Jersey for work before, so of it was the Jets fans, I would understand.

Opponents. Not sure we've played each other enough for enmity. More of a scheduling anomaly. "Ooh. Can't remember the last time we played this team we play once a decade." Should be a good game.
Also, the Pack live rent free in Bears fans heads. Once yesterday became a foregone conclusion, the Bears fans were chanting "Green Bay sucks."
Like ok. They're not here and can't hear you. But whatever makes you happy I guess.

Honestly, it's the same in football. We sing about the Villa still and they're not in the same league. Wolves sing about us. Nothing better to do I guess.

I think that might have been spurred on by a fan's sign that got showed on the big screen briefly - she held it up stating 'Let's Go Bears' or something, then as soon as it got on screen, flipped it over to say 'Green Bay Sucks'. Bit of fun innit.

Would usually be watching red zone, but lions vs Vikings has my entire attention, and after the failed lions fake punt in the 1st quarter, leads to a Vikings touchdown, that attention has intensified..

The lions now up 21-10 and the d fence is doing Stirling work without Hutchinson to keep the Vikings offense under manners (may now be tempting fate)

Fuck. That Watson injury is brutal in slo-mo. Not a fan of the man or the Browns org, but I feel bad for the most denizens of Cleveland: that city is Cursed. In an ancient Egyptian way, not the fun Scooby Doo way.

Yeah they showed the replay on Sky, that snap and ripple of the sock was brutal!

Meh. We lost to a good young team on the road to a last second FG on the prime national TV broadcast? That's a good loss. No ragrets. I'll take that over the 2021 and 2022 seasons every day of the week.
Tony Romo still sucks in the booth. He is a human labrador puppy behind the mic.

Not sure if anyone else has run across Isaac Punts on YT. This guy does ~3 minute vids that ONLY focus on punting, kicking and ST. He's really good and gives you a good detailed breakdown of the overlooked 3rd phase of the game.
We were 20 rows up in the end zone where this scored. His explanation of how they got the lanes is really good. Well worth a watch.

After putting my support behind the browns during their rebuild and being disappointed with the baker/deshaun qb swap when they should have just played jacoby brissett, I’m cautiously awaiting the other shoe to drop as the lions start their climb to national dominance.
Putting the smackdown both offensively and defensively (even without Aidan Hutchinson - more secondary rather than the pass rush) on the titans. Looking like the clear favourite in the nfc to get to the conference game, if not the Super Bowl.
Feel like the man crush on Dan Campbell and the team he and Brad holmes have built is finally bearing really successful fruit… -

man crush on Dan Campbell
Right here with you. Bitin’ kneecaps man.
Putting the smackdown both offensively and defensively
And mostly special teamsily!
Anyone at the Hot Toddy today? Only watching on Tele but good start
