Never buy the first of anything; let all the things that don't work be ironed out by the ~~suckers~~ ~~beta testers~~ early adopters.

This is always my mindset and is the one thing holding me back. But I've been a forced early adopter and employee at companies known for releasing trash/buggy products/software all the time - it became my life.
