We bought our first house together this year, in Devizes, and moved in 6 months ago.
Gardening thread had some epic updates clearing years of neglect.
The last two months were spent trying and failing to get a dog. A couple organisations turned out to be a little less than confidence-inspiring.
Fast forward some, and a week ago this joker came back in the van with us from Gloucester. Technically on approval but seems like it’s forever already.
No idea the cross inside him, but he’s got all the signs of coursing with little scars everywhere.
Friendly with other dogs, not massively fussed by cats, insane hunter instinct with squirrels.
He was so skinny he’s getting three proper meals a day just to get his bones to go away.
Photos show him sporting the leather jacket I made him, while refusing to move having spotted squirrels. Upholstery-grade genuine leather, cotton lined.
That leather jacket looks perfect for fucking off through brambles and coming back relatively unscathed. Tissue paper skin is the only thing to really worry about with long dogs.
Gratuitous Archibald pic, who's an absolute dick with anything small and furry.

He isn’t keen on the rain but he’ll walk in it.
