Definitely. Always got sore hands.
It just means you can get over the cranks and it feels like you can get the power down. -

It's only wrong once someone tells you it is. Don't get a bike fit, win.

inshallah you start road riding again

get the power down like a proper triathlete

For fitting, it totally depends on your body type, some people have long torso, short arms, etc etc.
There is also the argument (usually a rule for pros) that the further your weight is over the BB, the better the position is with your weight further forward over the front, which benefits handling as well as power generation from your legs.
On the other hand, the biggest sign if your bike saddle is too far forward is an expanded load on the upper body and handlebars (sore wrists)
Basically itβs a magic ratio dependant on the rider π€·ββοΈ

Getting a custom old man bike (according to Tijmen) built so went for a fit. But also I have been getting sore hands riding this past year or so. Can't get away with silly agro positions once you hit your 30s I've found

Getting a custom old man bike
You already own a custom titanium bike

• #467
Sorry, another custom old man bike

ah fair enough, my fit also suggested inline and somewhat forward saddle position but I think it mainly depends on femur length or something
not had a sore hand issue and never will as I dont cross the 35 mile barrier

Apparently I've got longer lower legs and shorter uppers. I'm also all torso, short limbs so centre of mass may be further forward than another person of my height with the same reach. I've moved my cleats back, saddle back (and been suggested to fit a trek!? saddle), bars back and increased drop. Haven't transferred this over to the arkose yet but I'm keen to give it a go.
Just need to find a 110mm -17 stem and a bontrager Aeolus 145mm saddle

Eagerly awaiting bikeCAD drawings

A medium I believe. I think their sizing is quite large. The size chart puts someone of my height on an XL but that's massive
-

I once rode one of the old splatter/EBB ones in XL and its always stuck in my head as a perfect fit for me, but they very rarely come up used at a reasonable price, been wondering about an L which is more common
