How many 2.4m timbers do you need? If it's >=8, just order 5 4.8m lengths and cut 4 in half?

30 or so 2400mm are needed, but 4800mm are 4 times the price of 2400mm at the moment. Kinda annoying

Where are you buying from? Even on Bradfords [who I avoid as they're more expensive than my friendly local builder's merchants] they're only twice for price @ £8.95.

Selco should be around £7 for 4800
They charge exactly twice the price of 2400 iirc
