I don't think it's the Ergon's fault, I rode ~430km, having only done 2x100km rides on it since June when I busted my collarbone. The position was being adjusted through the whole ride. I ended up dropping the saddle a bit after raising it (probably too far) and eventually angled it nose down a little as well as pushing it forward. But all this was from an arbitrary starting point anyway, not a proper fit or anything.
I probably needed more miles to toughen up my arse before doing a 400k. 600k this weekend and I think I'll try and even newer bike and saddle combo for the LOLs. Because you're not really alive if you're not in pain.
I'm kinda tempted by both options.
I rode a G4 on the 400k this weekend (road) and it worked ok though my arse is still shredded thanks to trying out a new Ergon and adjusting it 100x.
Tempted by the dropper/susser combo too though I really want a lighter eeSilk for the Crux. Fucksake, too many posts.
