Are those dropout converters something that came with those bikes or can you buy them?
-
• #68432
Pretty certain they came with the bike. There were versions without a hanger for a cleaner singlespeed look. But you could use the ones on this bike just as well, just don't attach a mech

I'd like something like that to convert horizontal dropouts to vertical. Can't find anything that works with standard horizontal dropouts, only those fancy adjustable dropouts you get on some bikes these days.

Cotic made something to fit their earlier roadrat frames for just this purpose. Maybe drop them an email?

Oh the frame has a mech hanger, I just want vertical dropouts for easier removal and installation of wheel with mudguards.

oof, that's bloody lovely! my size as well...
good job it's miles away, if it was closer i'd probably end up buying yet another bike i don't need.

Not sure that is physically possible without resulting rear wheel sitting an inch or so lower than intended to? Vertical drop out would have to be below current one or perhaps behind it, either way not sure how that can be achieved, especially as mech hanger would need to be used too. And the wheel would be attached to NDS to what?

Some bargain power meters on the Wiggle / CRC ebay site. Think the manufacturers unfortunately went under, however had one of these on my turbo bike and was fine for the price. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/156404563537?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=hxX4ImnrT8e&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=AtKJdxuvSpG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
