I’ve stuck the Trans X sus dropper back on the Spa and I think I’m actually preferring it to the Thudbuster.
It’s so much more obviously ‘active’ (which odd why some people dislike them) and while the small amount of drop isn’t great it is nice to just pop it even that little bit out the way sometimes.
I was going to try a longer drop non sus 27.2mm post but when I put it in the frame i realised that the skinny top section looked real strange next to the oversized tubes and larger tires etc.

I'm kinda tempted by both options.
I rode a G4 on the 400k this weekend (road) and it worked ok though my arse is still shredded thanks to trying out a new Ergon and adjusting it 100x.
Tempted by the dropper/susser combo too though I really want a lighter eeSilk for the Crux. Fucksake, too many posts.
Riding slowly around Epping today, I kept wondering if I'd prefer to refit the dropper or get a sus post
I know there's the PNW sus dropper, but telescopic posts aren't great
