Not sure if I have the budget for dandy, or to ask on the proper shoes thread, but I'm going into winter with nothing but a worn out pair of Loake sneakers to wear. What can I buy for under a ton that's properly waterproof, relatively warm, quick to get on and won't make me look like a loon doing the school run or trudging to Sainos?
*Obviously these aren't for manual labour, I'm a soft office worker/soon to be WFHer but considering I'm browsing Screwfix for shoes it seemed like the right place to ask.
I've got on well with Grisport stuff. It's not really nice looking but it's warm, waterproof if you keep it oiled now and then... guess the shoes are quick to pull on compared to boots.
