Step through ladies rat bike

I built this for my wife 7 or so years ago.
It has been used as a lovely little get around, but is in need of a.bit of fettling.

Some decent parts on it, and some hacks and comprises.

Currently set up as 1x but could be run as 2 x at the front with a band on mech if you fancy.

The good

• Velo Orange swept back bars.
  
• Dia compe levers
  
• Shimano long drop brakes
  
• Decent saddle (like a charge saddle kinda thing)
  
• brand new 700x28c Duranos, less than 50miles on them
  
• Strong light cranks
  
• MKS Sylvan pedals
  
• Suntour down tube shifters
  
• tiagra long cage mech from the spares bin
  
• wheel set from Christ knows where. Spin smooth and true though.
  
• Kalin quil stem
  
• Frame is decent quality lugged steel, could well be 531. I think it's an old Orbit.
  
  

The bad
The chain throws off the front ring a lot and I can't quite figure out why.
Chain line is ok.
It might just need a new chain and cassette.

The ugly

• The paint work is ratty after many years of being hacked about London and locked up.
  Bits of surface rust but nothing concerning.
  
• The, once dead fancy, hand stitched leather grips are tatty and coming undone.
  
  

Bike is down in Lewes but we could meet in Clapham Junction or Victoria on one of the days we are in London.

I think £140 £120 is fair for the lot.

You could even consider £140 a great price for a pair of barely used Duranos, some VO swept back bars, nice MKS quil pedals and a barely ridden saddle
