2-0 proving a dangerous scoreline this season.

It's only spurs, mate.

And us… twice 😭

Second half was awesome yesterday, I thought we looked very tidy in possession but still pretty shaky in defence at times. Forest played great even tho' they did park the bus, looked dangerous on the counter and almost robbed us of the point on a few occasions, Sanchez pulled off a few amazing saves. Sharing the points seemed like a fair result to me.

I'm actually enjoying watching Chelsea ATM it's chaos! And that forest game was a great example! Could have won 3-1 but also could have lost 1-3.
Nicolas Jackson is also a bit mental 😂 -

Fofana and Cucarella now unavailable for the game vs Liverpool. Also some risk that Jackson is looking at some post-match punishment for his action in the melee.

An unfortunate 1-3 loss for Fisher against Faversham Town on Saturday. Took the lead early in the first half but then let it slip away over the rest of the match. Did feel like we were more dominant but the scoreline would disagree. Faversham are 3rd in the league and apparent favourites though so I'd have been happy with a draw but it wasn't to be. Their 3rd came late on off the back of a counter from us trying to even it up so all in all not an awful dominating trashing or anything.
Record crowd of 423 thanks to St Paul's being the second stop of the day on this year's SCEFL Groundhop (https://www.scefl.com/scefl-groundhop-2024).
My mate also won the obscure football shirt competition which he was exited about. -

So impressed with the improvement in our defence this year, Milenkovic has been transformational so far and is the perfect complement to Murillo. Crazy to think we paid £25m for both of them. Aina's one on one defending has been good too. Then with CHO, Elanga and MGW we're going to cause a lot of teams problems in transition. Classic Nuno-ball really.

If you buy 40 players, eventually you’re going to get a couple of decent ones. 😉

Arsenal are defying the odds alright.

I'd expect arsenal to be top 3, basing a "simulation" off xg is madness (simulation is rich, it's an excel spreadsheet.
Fulham and Bournemouth positions demonstrate that clearly.

This is very dark news - George Baldock was a more than decent player - RIP

Really sad to read this. RIP, George.

2 calamitous errors from Pickford in the opening minutes for Ingurand.
On a lighter note, just saw a paper plane hit a Greek player much to the delight of the crowd.

Not a good balance to this side. Can't believe they haven't got Watkins on.

Surprised there's not been more slating of Klopp on here.
After managing at two "proper" clubs you might have thought he'd picked up on something about the meaning of football beyond commercialisation.
Joining Red Bull just confirms that all the major signs that he was actually just a massive wanker were right.

maybe klopp wants a break from the day in day out relentless slog of managership. the role he's doing is as an advisor to the red bull group. less pressure, more time with the wife and kid(s) with a get out clause should the germany managers role become available. i'm guessing he'll be back at one of the top top clubs in a few years once he's had a bit of a break

• #171646
I agree, it is very disappointing.
-
• #171647
I thought he left due to burnout and wanting more time with his family...so why has he now taken this role? Money money money. There's no way to cover it up, it does dent his reputation.

He lapped up the applause from the Dortmund fans a couple of weeks ago knowing he was about to join an institution they despise. Snake.

This is what happens when you let Twitter pick the England team.
Mate was there, said the atmosphere was a bit odd. Put it down to the shock of scoring four goals.
