  • I don't trust my skills/ knowledge to strip the anno off. Last time I tried any paint stripping was about 2006 when nitromors was still in it's old formula. I had a more relaxed approach to health and safety back then.

  • It's actually quite easy. Drain cleaner and bobs your uncle.

  • Current plan is to sell both of these, and build a Marin Alcatraz, as an all-purpose skate park, pump track, phoenix bike.

And possibly buy a jibb v1.

  • BMX and Whyte 905 sold on eBay. Still thinking of selling the load 75 as it isn't getting used enough. Something is incoming, but I don't know what. Heart says a Canyon Torque mullet, but not sure it is a practical choice for the riding that is nearby. Transition PBJ maybe a better bet for pump track and Phoenix. Also consideriing stupidly over specced Hellion Xs for the kids, but seems a bit indulgent.

  • This is pretty rad.

  • Did try and persuade him that a full face helmet might not be needed in Epping Forest. He was dropping me going downhill on this with me on a V brake cx bike though.

  • First venture into tubeless. Easiest way to set them up is to get SBC to. Them having purple hope valves that match the rims was a nice bonus.

  • What rims are these?

  • Silver DCR Flirt 30mm rims, 30mm depth, 24mm wide

    Bought the wheelset from jono84

  • Cheers. They work really well.

  • They are nice wheels. Spoke count is probably a bit light, but I haven't had any issues yet.

  • Tubeless set up and suspension dialled by SBC. I love this bike.
