Very up for doing one! Got some family stuff on my plate at the moment so unlikely to be soon, but one day I was have some time to do one.

Missed your csb (or did you edit?) - that is pretty cool. I don’t know Mitch, but I imagine he and Joe are aware of each other. Joe is much more scene-integrated than I am! :-D

Would love to do this but am solo dadding that weekend, so am unavailable, and couldn’t really bring jnr into studio to sit whilst I do music things!
Going to investigate doing a 2hr mix for future use. Thinking there will be lots of sfx transitions in there

This feels like the right thread to ask this question, I’m looking for bands similar to cymande and the Lafayette afro rock band, never truly appreciated when they were together but their legend growing as they were sampled after they disbanded.
Any contenders. 70s/80s bands preferred, with similar Afro funk sensibilities..

Manu dibango was performing in Paris when Lafayette Afro rock band were there, there’s a certain amount of cross pollination in terms of them influencing each other I’ve read.
