Choc Chip Hobnobs on my hit-list...
-
• #53
Agreed but that is pretty much what a Choco Leibniz iz and I would kill for them (milk).

Dark Chocolate Choco Leibniz are like crack, I could bosh an entire pack in mins
However, I'm more restrained these days and on a weight loss kick. Current slightly less guilty favourite is the Nairn's Oat Biscuits

Reminds me of when people, reputedly, played Chess by post. -

I am a massive chocolate digestive fanboi at the moment.
Cannot get enough, rationing myself to 2 with a glass of milk when MrsDeth goes to bed (not everyday, but I easily could)McVities are king, Lidl own are an acceptable alternative (need longer dunking to absorb)
M&S own brand are the worst I have had (and I tried Tesco Value) -

I have a McVities chocolate digestive 90% of the times I go downstairs for something - we get through a lot of them!
I do feel like they've changed the recipe of their chocolate though, something isn't right there. In years gone by the chocolate was hard so if you snapped the biscuit the chocolate would snap too but nowadays if you snap one the chocolate bends slightly before coming apart & has a more waxy texture - anyone else found that?

These were close to the Choco leibniz that I bought so I got some. I know I'm a heathen but I dunked them in my tea. Superb, I now don't have any biscuits.

Is it me or a the absolute cheapest custard creams way better for dunking than the more expensive varieties. If I dunk a biscuit I want it to do soft not stay crunchy.

LOL @ "Le Petit Chocolat" , they are called "le petit écolier" here ( = the little schoolboy (?) )

Cheap at Sainos last night.
Hardly ever have biscuits unless someone's found Tim Tams somewhere but these are nice. -
• #64
Tim tams are available in Waitrose.
-
• #65
tim tams are shit penguins?
and penguins are shit to begin with.
Its just a bourbon biscuit dipped in "chocolate"
And oreos are shit bourbons.Wait, this isn't the hate thread...
Had a Tunnocks Teacake earlier, they are elite.
Probably not a biscuit though. -
• #66
Yeah they are banging

Recently Tim Tams have been much more readily available in a multitude of supermarkets, Waitrose and Tesco being the two we've used here. My parents visited recently so we got a stash from them too.

tim tams are shit penguins?
You're a shit penguin.
The only good thing about Penguin biscuits is the joke on the wrapper. Read that and then bin the cunt and buy Tim Tams.

How on earth did a biscuit thread go unused for three years?!
-
• #70
We know who to thank for that...

Brexit.
You lot don't deserve biscuits now.
The shame of an Aussie bringing a British biscuit thread back to life. THE SHAME!!!

Oh I'd vote for him again, that loveable, albeit slightly murderous, buffon. Jolly good show! Pip pip! Don't spare the horses!

The tunnocks tea cake is a unique thing. Is it a biscuit or a cake?
I want to know for vat purposes;)
Yes they are elite and you are right.
Bourbons are a shite biscuit and just bring disappointment.
-
• #74
Surely there'll be no vat on the dark chocolate version

Haven't seen McVities Fig Rolls for ages. Just Boland and own-brand. Like McVities the best, others are disappointing. Any leads (that don't involve internet shopping)?
