• My only gripe with the ENO ECC hub is that you're you have to use thread on freewheel, which I've found to be either poor quality or cost a lot of money.

  • It's a fair point. It's simply the most visually pleasing.
    An advantage of running a regular hub + ss kit + eccentric BB would be that I could throw gears on in like 15 minutes if I wanted to.
    I do know though I want to get a way from a chain tensioner for clean looks.

  • I mean, you could have a spare rear wheel, with gears on, if you wanted to swap for gears, but then you'd have to built an extra set to match.
    Please let me know how you get on with the VO EBB - I think I might try it before I have Starfish braze in an eccentric BB shell on my Intec.

    Also - though not relevant to this particular build, but EBB means you wont have to re-align your mudguards if you swap gearing/wheels
