If you can sort out the back wall a clug bike rack would be quite neat.

For the day bed, if you build something in I'd reference ikea sofa cushions. The discount section on your way out always has cushions and mattresses so using something otp might be easier.

Yep great idea - across this - although I do have a cot bed mattress in the garage that may work if I trim it down.
