Oh man, I would not want to watch it alongside the original. I keep thinking that it felt like a film that was made by someone who’d read the plot synopsis of and seen a few stills from the original movie but who’d absolutely failed to grasp the whole vibe of what made it good. Can’t imagine how shit it would seem standing right next to it.
Haven’t gone back to watch the last hour yet. Imagine I’ll get around to it before it leaves Prime in the next week, but I won’t feel any sense of urgency around it.

Not for me either. First and only time watching being at a double bill with Blade Runner at PCC probably didn’t help. I wanted to leave.
