Yeah those Runes look pretty fun. Aside from the indignity of a quill stem. 650b geo for bigger tyres as well.

Good news. A good company that was under terrible management. I hope things go well for them.

Really like the look of that Rufus Stone in mustard yellow. Yummy.

Worth pointing out that the owner of Rune was a bit of a dick about trans people a couple of years ago. I'd be pretty upset if I found out after I gave them Β£1200+ for a frame.

Yes, and he apologized and promised to educate himself on the subject, which is why I do not think we should still hold it against him.

Fair enough but I personaly would want to know about something like that before making a big purchase.

It takes someone with guts to own their mistakes and try to improve. Weβre all guilty of making errors. But we donβt always learn from them. Kudos.

Tapered head tube, lugs and carbon fork. I can't get down with that I'm afraid!

Have gone for an XL Rune Rufus Stone in mustard yellow. Am going to build it up very much like the bike in the pic. I donβt live far from the New Forest, so itβll be ideal.
Thanks very much for all the helpful suggestions.

Do any manufacturers make a nice/different/decent gravel bike with a lugged frame? Maybe something with a bit of a vintage vibe?
Thanks for any pointers/tips π
