New to me Dave Yates up and running smoothly. Very glad of the threadless steerer for the extra stack height. Feel like black hubs and rims would be even better, but pretty happy for now. It’ll be off to France next week for some light touring

Confirmed by Condor that this Pendio, that I bought new in 1991, is a Dave Yates original. Note 'London 149 1/4' — presumably to Charing Cross!

I feel like this was a forumer's frame at some point. There was definitely a bright pink one in a similar design.

Just spent an hour looking through all the pics, very nostalgic, I even remember building some of them. For general info I have retired now but I am perfectly happy to answer any questions any of you may have. I can date most of the frames going back to no 1, I have all the original order books alas not many order forms from before 2005 as they got destroyed in a flood at the Wallsend workshop the day before we moved out. I need to work out how to get the forum to notify me when there is a post on this thread so I can reply. My IT skills are somewhat less than my metalworking skills😁😁
