• Can anyone advise on loose ball bearings. I am looking for 5/32 for a headset service but not sure which grade to get (does it matter)? Also, where is a good place to get loose ball bearings?

  • The smaller the grade the better the polish. Grade 10 is plenty enough for a headset, and there’s good sellers on eBay that sell small pouches or larger mixed boxes if you’re interested.

  • Great, thanks. Although when I search for 5/32" bearings all I see is grade 100 - will these do?

  • Isn't grade ten the best? Have read that campag use grade 25 in their wheels and headset but no idea if true.
Grade 100 should be ok, if the headset has brindled, you can use slightly larger balls to help solve that problem.

@timages try simply bearings ;) if you want postage or if you are in north London belts and bearings in north london
