Yes and no. I've been riding split-nose Adamo saddles for 10+ years. I thought I'd just leave this one as is for a bit. So, the basic fit is fine but this bike has no aerobars, a "normal" saddle that I've never used and I've also got new shoes and my shoulder is in a new location just to really change things up. :)
Yep that.. and I've spent about 2.5hrs on it. I'm still trying to work out if I like the saddle or not.
New bike, new position, new saddle, new shoes. I'd rather do a few shorter rides that don't involve hotels and trains before committing to riding this.
Let's be clear, most people don't try and do a 400k as their shakedown ride, especially not on a brand new setup. I did it once with a 600k before TCR but at least I'd had a bike fit and I'd been riding similar setup for the months leading up to it.
