Yeah, my GF has an SWorks SL8 and when the bikes are side by side you can see the design cues.
I love the SL8 and the R5 but when you jump on this it’s completely different, like you said, it just feels stiff and fast like you’re not losing a single watt.
Also, apparently a design error, but you can supposedly fit 32mm tyres on a venge 😂

Excellent deal this, I ‘downgraded’ to an sl8 after selling a similar bike (read unbadged sworks) and as much as I like the sl8, the venge still remains the faster bike, both in looks and in feel, and probably in measurable terms too! Ah man, can you tell I regret selling the venge 😂 it’s a proper modern classic!
