I really want an XC bike again.
Has one considered a Gravel bike? For reference; it's a type of bike that can do XC stuff and road...

Hummn - you might be on to something there…. Like, an Open WI.DE or something like that!?!

LoL

your epic and my procaliber was a good era
-
• #12
Does it come with an instagram page and more than 5 thousand followers?
-
• #13
Why can't you be my height! All your sales make me jealous
-

Unfortunately not, however, it does come with a reputation for surging, making pointless breaks, sitting on the front for an entire race then dropping yourself on the second to last lap, and not getting a single race point all season….
But I can promise you that’s entirely down to the idiot riding it.@cake ❤️ - I still have some handlebars for you
@Glws I agree - and is a front mech away from being a lot more sensible (and less fun)
@amey the Epic was epic - I do miss that a lot

given its you, you have already bought this next XC bike, what is it?
-
• #16
Surprisingly nothing yet! Possibly a winter of discontent!

Won’t leave this lingering here for long before moving to eBay etc, so please shout if you’re interested and don’t be afraid to make me a sensible offer

This is worth it for the baller chainring alone.

I’m always concerned
Fortunately his Tarmac and Epic are still more than enough for my talents -
• #21
Hahahah - I wondered if I might see you here 😂
-
• #22
Always interested in what my next bike might be. But the Tarmac only got a new groupset this year so I'll just shop vicariously through you for this round.
Potential dibs for the next one though -

Excellent deal this, I ‘downgraded’ to an sl8 after selling a similar bike (read unbadged sworks) and as much as I like the sl8, the venge still remains the faster bike, both in looks and in feel, and probably in measurable terms too! Ah man, can you tell I regret selling the venge 😂 it’s a proper modern classic!

Flawless.

Who needs a Tarmac when Venge exists?
I'll share this classified for ya. Pretty sure my friend bought your last bike (the Aspero!?)
Bit of an impulse listing but then that matches my impulse buying.
I’ve owned this for about 4 months now, when I bought it it was by far the best example last generation Venge for sale I could find. Super clean, barely ridden. I’ve put about 800kms on it since rebuilding it so it’s still in excellent condition.
Pretty much every single one of those kms other than one 70km loop of Essex have been on the velopark road circuit and this thing was an absolute weapon to train and race on. Noticeably faster than my R5 round the circuit and made knocking out a solo 70km round Essex at 35kph easy.
Came in at pretty much bang on 7kgs as pictured.
This non-SWorks branded version of the final Venge frame was identical to the SWorks version.
I really want an XC bike again. So this has to go.
These are getting rarer and rarer, especially in remotely good condition as most have been abused.
Setup:
Pretty much all of these components above were brand new 800kms ago.
Will not come with pedals, cages or saddle
Happily discuss splitting for frame & wheels only
£3750 Full Bike
£2500 Frame & Wheels
£1950 Frameset
Always happy to listen to sensible, serious offers
