Starmer cancelled a few permits for arms sales, but ones that will have a minor effect on supply of a small amount of parts and would not make a difference for 3-4 years. So, basically to try to win back some goodwill from the anti-genocide community without actually doing anything meaningful.

I mean, Spain, Ireland and a few others all recognised Palestine in the last few months and were signatories on the ICJ case, so I'd say as non-arms dealing countries they've used a number of avenues available to them.
