Arguably Rohloff/Pinion solved those shortcomings by getting rid of the derailleur?

You'll have to prise my disraeli gears from my cold dead hands

I am not sure what point you are making attaching a graph that shows the efficiency of internal gears, when Kimmo was describing gear progression?
-
• #3455
It shows efficiency through gear progression for IG / gearbox systems, in response to a comment about efficiency being a concern rather than simply "maintaining a nice cadence". (also shows the Nuvinci vs Pinion)
I'm not just poking here, I am genuinely interested to understand why adapting derailleur system would solve this better over existing systems on the market (like Pinion), and also what that would involve.

This graph gives me a headache.

You can keep your pinions to yourself

Vitoria Mezcal tyre wouldnβt seat and I donβt own a boost bottle thing.
I did however have an old fire extinguisher, some jubilee clips, an old car pump, the end of a hose, a presta/schrader adapter, valves from old inner tubes and some delrin. (and being honest a lathe).

I'm trying to remember why tubeless has never appealed to me.

Definitely disqualified from the bodge category... Guess it's covered by 'hack' though?

What was lathed?

A reducer between the yellow hosepipe and the hose cut off the care tyre pump.
Iβm going to replace the car hose with one for a track pump -

Snap, I inherited this from a mate. He has somehow connected the valve directly to the unit.

Always wanted to see an aero Rotor ring on my hidden bolt Sram cranks, but imagined the tasteful thickness difference in Rotor rings was the reason I'd not seen the combination before. Took off a mil with the Dremel and router attachment and bob is my uncle. I think it looks great, we'll see if it shifts.
I wasn't aware I'd rubbed away the anodising with the dust, but it's not so apparent after a clean thankfully. Fingers crossed it doesn't kill me.

Not mine but spotted on the street, a bottle cage for presumably a litre bottle of water from the supermarket

Unrelated bodge, as seen on socials.

That's the cage of a bottle of rioja.
I am obviously an interloper - I wouldn't ride fixed, or even ss, if you paid me.
And the closest I've ever been to London is Paris ;)
I'd probably still be hanging around here if it wasn't even about bikes - the way this place has just continued as if Facebook and Reddit never happened is astounding.
I fucking love that. It's a credit to one and all.
