Did you make a thing that widens the kick stand also? I would for the inevitable moments it is imbalanced while parked.
-
• #14503
No I didn't, it looks wider than it is to be honest, 870mm at its widest.
Don't think it'll be toppling over with the standard kickstand

So waterproof trousers... I wore two pairs today and rode 8 miles in medium heavy rain. Knees are still fairly sodden on my jeans. What's the solution please ?
I have a motor so don't need to worry about overheating particularly.

Rab are amazing, I have these: https://rab.equipment/uk/firewall-pants-qwh-34?queryID=19147a8a37c258051bfcfe419ddfb555&objectID=45102&indexName=rab_live_uk_products
Lots of adjustability, maybe not as tapered as their Kinetic design. I think I paid £70 new when they were heavily discounted.

The only thing to watch out for is someone at the side then leaning out. I've got a madjax box which is wide, but not quite as wide, and my daughter was leaning out the other day, while the bike was on the stand, and it made me a bit nervous. Especially as it was on the edge of the pavement next to a road!

Contact @peir0ltlr on here, he might be able to point you in the right direction.

Just picked this up and it is SHOCKINGLY nice to ride. Its done a ton of miles but is freshly tuned up. Besides the seatcover needing a wash and the tape being a bit perished its gold. Has an IPS crankset in the rear, never tried that before, makes tandem make a bunch more sense. Probobly still going to get modded into a kiddy cargo until the kid gets bigger

In the nineties there were a couple versions of that in the US and I was able to ride them a few times, I remember it being quite natural with hardly any learning curve. Enjoy y’self!

Yeah, ride feels super natural. Just did a few hours breaking it in with my wife in the front seat doing fuck all but having a great time

So it seems Omnium have released their tilting rack bracket today. I’m sure I saw this posted earlier in the thread, good to see it making its way to production as I can see it being super handy for loads of people

It's made owning an Omnium worryingly possible for me. (At least in terms of storage. Finances and not wanting my partner to leave me are still massive barriers of course.)

yup they up..but "expect a 4 week build-queue."

Needed to extend the box on my bullit to accommodate the new arrival and the dog
Think it might be a tad wide! We'll see..
