I have the Speedrockers (non-XL version) and the above-mentioned extension. I don't use the extension much, because it rattles on bumpy roads which is annoying (possibly could be solved by gluing it down or something), other than that the Speedrockers are solid on the Crux.

Solid idea. Other colours available.

Gravel riders, what 'upgrade' can I buy that will be pointless other than giving me joy? Don't say mudguards - I'm happy with my winwing.
Top cap, something Ti, maybe something from Bentley Components.
Matching anodised headset & seatpost collar.
Bolts.

Cheers. I'm going to think about it just long enough that it leaves no time to order anything before the weekend and go without. #lessplasticmoremudspatter

Thats internal isn't it? I have a threaded T47 that I am wanting to fit, should of said
-

I have a threaded T47
All T47s are threaded it's what the T stands for, treks might be slightly narrower so they don't fuck them up with shallow splines in big factories, I haven't looked into whether that's an issue or just might need a possible spacer depending on BB/cranks whatever.
-
• #32186
Should said it was an external T47 bearing so not flush fitting bb like other T47 that seem to on the Treks
I have T47 on my stayer but have swapped it for a Hope BB so have this Rotor one spare so seeing what I can fit as have crank arms and axles to fit Road or wider

that will be pointless other than giving me joy
Carefully sourced correctly matching accessories.
Mtbs always look great with little splashes of colour on the key fettling points - QR/TAS, bolts, seat clamp, etc. ATBs are in the same family.
You'll smile every time you look at your bike as a whole or carry out a mundane task.
Change all the bolts with fancy titanium ones in oil slick?

I'VE ALREADY DONE THAT! Lol. The theme is black/stealth with oil slick (thanks to the oil slick touches - the sram force axs derailleur, sram red chain, tubeless valves and now bolts.

@spinnnout, @hugo7 - yeah that's the direction I went down. Aero frame/post means you can't change the collars on the seatpost. I also don't want to over do the oil slicking.
@timmah! I'll mull over it, but wheels and tyres were refreshed earlier this year. I haven't found good matching bags yet.

me and some pals rode up to youlgrave YHA in the peaks from loughborough and back at the weekend.
approximately 200k of about 50/50 road / 'uk gravel' mix.
it was a good test for the redshift stem and post on a loaded up bike - they certainly make for a very plush experience. my hands, forearms, and booty were all fine when we got back.appols for NDS pic.
FYI - the climb out of Youlgrave up to Parsley Hay in the morning is brutal

The bikes all have a T47 BB shell though, that's the standard (with trek shaving a teeny bit off that shouldn't affect much), what you do with BBs and cranks is a separate issue.

I quite like Youlgrave/Greave? - did an outdoor first aid course there a short while ago. It's an easy ride up to Stanton Moor and some very decent pubs there too.
Lovely little village that is somewhat ruined by the awful climb both through and leading out from it. -

Stayer Groadinger UG - though hens teeth material and good luck getting someone to part with theirs.
EDIT: Realised who was it posting, can't imagine you're wanting a second Stayer anytime soon? -
• #32197
True but the shell I have is different then the chain line will be effected if the external cups make it wider.
But see what you’re saying. See what is available I guess
-
• #32198
I have been tempted in getting another Stayer, looking at the All road with matching paint
-
• #32199
If you've got a T47 BB then the shell is T47, they're all* the same shell, the BB is matched to whatever cranks you're using.

Whether they are internal or external cups/bearings.
School day
Anyone know of a T47 BB bike that is also an All Road..
Seems that I have enough spares now to build another bike so thought something more roadie..
