So maybe I’m missing something here but if genuinely confused. What’s the difference between Russians “special military operation” in Ukraine and Israel’s reported “limited ground incursion” in Lebanon. As an outsider with limited historical context in both conflicts it seems to both me one sovereign state acting as an aggressor and using their military to enter into another sovereign state for the purpose of… something military related.
I’ve tried to be aware but not involved when it’s come up in conversation with friends/acquaintances but it seems to be coming harder to do so I should probably find out more.
