I’m with you on this, teams persist with it sometimes even when they’re receiving a bad pass, the other team are high pressing in numbers and they’re increasingly shovelling a shit pass on to the next guy. Surely part of playing that approach is having the awareness when it’s going wrong and hitting a long get out pass?
