    If you hoof it, you're at least as likely to lose possession as keep it.

    Having grown up on a diet of team's hoofing it, I, for one, am glad teams play it out from the back now.

    You can usually see it happening a mile off.

  • I’m with you on this, teams persist with it sometimes even when they’re receiving a bad pass, the other team are high pressing in numbers and they’re increasingly shovelling a shit pass on to the next guy. Surely part of playing that approach is having the awareness when it’s going wrong and hitting a long get out pass?
    My kids announced last night ‘why are Man Utd trying to play out!’. They were truly garbage. Bring in Roy Keane
