Strade Bianchi is half the race Lombardy is, so please let's not over elevate it. From a one day perspective there are six races that a rider's career is judged on; the five monuments and the world championsip road race.
And, as @snoops says, the prestige of a palmares is very much dependent on the type of rider they are. Van der Poel has a much more storied palmares than Van Aert, despite the latter being a much more rounded rider, because he has won three of the five monuments and the worlds.

Winning a bunch of one day monuments is obviously going to make you a greater rider than someone who has won one Vuelta or Giro, though. Gilbert > Chris Horner.
On the other hand, if you have only won one off the list this pretty much holds true. Hesjedal > Zaugg. I wait andyps counter examples.

Pretty harsh on the Vuelta all this
