Cottonopolis does really good cocktails, I can recommend the whisky highballs, and they have a vegan menu.

Sounds like I'm going to be spoiled for choice for food, I assumed this would be the case but exciting to have it confirmed, ta.

It's been two year since I last asked on here, but I'm coming back to Manchester next week.
It's my girlfriend's birthday so I'd like somewhere nice for dinner. We're staying at the Alan hotel (I think)so nearby would be a bonus.
We eat everything. For her it would be a bonus if it was organic and local, foraged bits too would be nice.

Try to get in Where The Light Gets In. If not, Climat has been highly recommended.

Yes there is, Fridays. @atk is chief 'organiser' in my eyes but it is perhaps more of an anarcho-syndicalist community of sorts.

It is on most (but not all) weeks, Friday 8am. Most recently been at Mayfield Park by Piccadilly, there was a big crowd ahead of that bike show at Victoria Baths in the summer.

If you're not here Friday and wanted to meet similarly another day it might be doable for me, not sure about others & may be weather dependent.

There may be other folks who meet & brew up at other times/places that I'm not aware of too.
