If not too late, I went Spyre cable disk and really like it. Dual piston caliper rather than one fixed like the BB7s make a load of difference. I have small hands and find the Brompton brake leavers really comfortable but YMMV on that. Never felt under braked and (for me) it feels pretty progressive especially vs BB7s which I have on a couple of other bikes, but not as progressive as the hopes on my cargo bike.

Apologise for my previous question was not clear, but in terms of hubs and brakes which would be the best combo (not interested in dynamo hubs)
