Very much not in the demin festish category, but hands down, without question, the best pair of dad's jeans are my Levis Cordura skateboarding jeans. I started using them when covid hit and I was at home more and they are my most used knocking about jeans.
5yrs on and the crotch is only now getting thin and there have been no rips or tears. In the meantime many other jeans have failed, but these have held strong despite abuse.
