Subaru is with the mechanic and getting a new knock sensor tomorrow, no more CEL, woop!

I'll be investigating the Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port tomorrow, found them on the Repco website so if I'm really lucky there might even be one in stock down the street I can try for size.

This looks cool, do the Japanese BMWs come with better spec or was it just easier to find lower mileage and good condition cars as imports?
Also I hate being that guy who throws out petty comments, but this would look so much better with silver wheels in my opinion

Though you could spec a 4x4 direct from ford at the time. There is a transit for everyone.
Wonder what the 4x4 kit is.

not sure about Japanese this was from Singapore - spec is great, low miles (not that it can be trusted) and condition. There is no rust at all on it, changed the disc/pads all round and all the bolts just undid!
that's interesting, I had them powdercoated and just assumed black as that's what they were when I bought it -you might be right. The internal colour is very divisive!!

Here ya go.
Very happy with it. Totally different to what I was driving before (a Giulietta) but nice to waft around the M25 after picking it up last night.
Going to fit an MMI box to get carplay on it. Then I'd like to fit a black rear diffuser and twin exhaust. For no other reason other than I think that looks great.
Amazing tech considering it's almost 15 years old.

Looks great. I fitted a mmi box as well to get CarPlay. Bought from AliExpress and pretty straightforward to fit

New whip for me. It's like driving a high-performance sofa.
I can't believe these are so cheap, and that a car made in 1989 feels so insanely high quality.
RIP berlingo era!

Love these

They’re very quiet just pootling around but then sound quite Nascar when pushed. Great cars, shame about the gearbox.

Oh well done! I've been entertaining notions about picking up similar myself. This one looks fantastically clean!

You better give us a look at this internal colour...

A fine choice, that one looks very tidy. I take it you're out of town now?

No more CEL, makes for a much more relaxing driving experience. Came up empty at Repco, they couldn't give me dimensions for that Turbosmart BOV so I'll send them an email. But it's a super tight spot.

Iso Grifo, it says it on the back.
Kidding, I spotted one in Monaco years back and only remember because I had to look it up then. Pretty rare, I think. I wouldn't have thought there are many in the UK. Was it just parked up in London? I definitely wouldn't leave it in the rain if it was mine!

I'm in the office so this is from google - wouldn't have been my first choice but the car was a better spec than the others at the time

Pad shim lose? Checked wheel bolts and not picked up a stone in a trim? Check the hydraulic pipes to the calipers hasn't been twisted
