True that.
Was just wondering if any friends has taken it and (drunk) forgotten too.

Those are my thoughts exactly, however some are under the radar, but could still attract unwanted attention. The thing is most of these designs are blatant rip offs anyway. I'm still on the fence about them, retro Seiko homages are one thing but Pateks and the like...

That is rather nice, but the bracelet is too narrow.

I guess it’s not a simple decision for some. You got a nice thing you want to flaunt it.
Or, you always wear the nice thing and the heavy night developed without intention.
Like, wear a nice thing at a wedding/event and know there’s booze, or at work and happen to go for a few after. Never get dressed for a session out, and put the good stuff on.
One thing to ruin some Ben Shermans, another to suffer the trauma this poor chap has.

Don't really want to body shame on here, but looks like your forearm could do with a bit of moisturising cream.

I have a bit of thing with watches where I'm very likely to bash it on the corner of a concrete wall or a lamp post at some point so price wise it's got to be something I'd be alright with devaluing immediately. Conflict comes when there's emotional attachment like gifts from late family members.

Am away with only a Frogman for timekeeping. It's been in the pool a few times though, so certainly earning it's keep.
(I probably used 1 of the 200m it's capable of)

200m is standard on G-Shocks, including your regular 5600s and 2100s. 100m on Baby-Gs.
To be fair, how often are you paying attention to the status of a friends watch on their wrist when together. Then add a load of gargle into the mix.
In a similar vein, I know of at least half a dozen instances where (myself included) mates have locked a bike somewhere pissed, gone drinking some more, and returned to where they think they locked their bike. Cue whatsapp chaos stating bike is robbed, only to stumble across it inoccuously a few days later, at the location it was actually locked.
Here's hoping this guy shoved it in a random drawer at home or similar when he got home and forgot about it.
