Raspberry envy right here! What’s the secret? I put in some donated autumn raspberries this spring which are just starting to produce, but only a few fruit here and there.

Pleasing colours from today’s harvest
Probably should have left the big squash a bit longer, but the slugs were swarming and I didn’t want to be beaten to it.

Not tempted to leave them to ripen? Or is green chutney good? I’ve never had it.
Impressive @Screwball

I made green chutney last year from my green toms, really nice :)

Give them a year or two. Bit of fym over winter helps everything as well, pruning too if they’re autumn raspberries.

No idea really, we put in 6 canes middle of last summer. Think I dug some manure in as well, not done much else! Mix of summer and autumn, it's the autumns that have done best.
The yellow ones are the real hit, had some strawberry sized fruit off.

I'm going to leave them a few days to see if any start to change then green chutney it is. Made some last year and went down really well.

Great will give that a go. Is it time to take down the tomato plants in the greenhouse or leave them a bit longer?
-
• #5163
Mine were outside and it's dropping to 13 degrees here on Friday so figured it was time, might be alright a bit longer in a greenhouse

Has anyone had any luck with using up unripe figs? Don’t think mine are going to ripen before things get cold
-

you could try fastening a clear plastic zip lock back round each fruit if there's not too many to try and eek out the last of the sun/warmth and ripen them a little more
-
• #5169
There’s quite a few. I could try to get them some more warmth though

Not sure when to harvest my first ever Cauliflower, should they be picked on sight?

Last weeks greenish tomato harvest ripened nicely on the windowsill through the week, so I've brought more home to do the same.
Still lots on my plants so green chutney may be necessary.

Pulled a celeriac today. Feel like they could be bigger, can they stay in into winter?

That looks great, I tried to grow these last year and they ended up just being all leaves.

That's the best one so far. Googled and seems it'll benefit from longer in the ground so I'll leave the rest.
Picked all the toms before the cold gets them on Friday. More green tomato chutney it is!
